Full Chip Mixing Instructions

Mixing ratio is 1 part A to 1 part B. Kits come in 6 gallons, 3 gallons part A and 3 gallons part B.
The mixing ratios are as follows: You will likely mix in smaller amounts, especially for cut-in, just keep the ratios in proportion:
Mixing- Prime Coat
- 64 ounces of part A
- 8 ounces of Pigment
- Mix together
- 64 ounces of part B
- 25 ounces of Acetone
- Mix all together with stir stick back and forth for 2 minutes. Remember to scrape the sides and the bottom of the mixing bucket.
1 gallon of product cut back 20% for prime coat – you should see coverage rates of around 250 sq. ft / gallon
Mixing- Chip Coat
- 64 ounces of part A
- 8 ounces of Pigment
- Mix together
- 64 ounces of part B
- 16 ounces of Acetone
- Mix all together with stir stick back and forth for 2 minutes. Remember to scrape the sides and the bottom of the mixing bucket.
1 gallon of product cut back 12% to 15% for your chip coat – you should see coverage rates of around 400 sq. ft / gallon
Mixing- Top Coat
- 64 ounces of part B
- 64 ounces of part A
- 4 ounces of Acetone
- Mix all together with stir stick back and forth for 2 minutes. Remember to scrape the sides and the bottom of the mixing bucket.
1 gallon of product cut back 12% to 15% for your top coat – you should see coverage rates of around 250 sq. ft / gallon.
If you do a 2nd top coat, do a thin coat, keep the coverage rate to around 400 sq. ft / gallon.
Floor chips – full chip floor. Throw approx. 1 lb per 6 sq. ft. You should recover 35% - 50% of what you throw.
